Jim Scott

James started his journey into Gundogs as a hobby, beating and picking up on a local farm shoot. He later became the gamekeeper on a commercial shoot near Bridgnorth. The shoot comprised of 150 to 300 bird- pheasant and partridge days, held over a four thousand acre estate. James trained his dogs to a high level to cope with all aspects of a keepers job, from dogging in poults, beating in the line and picking up on large corporate days.

James decided to follow his passion of training dogs and joined us at Midland Gundog Training. With his in-depth knowledge of the ins and outs of a shoot day, James encourages his clients to have the same high standard of dog work and he strives to produce the very best out of each dog and handler in an easy and straight forward manor.

We are delighted to have Jim join us. Having been training buddies for the last few years and working dogs together on shoot days, we feel very fortunate to have a like minded person who has the same passion and high standards as we strive for here.
